HAPPY DAYS OF '47......

This beautiful monument that we dedicate to the members of the LDS people is tied to our 24th of July celebration and the pioneers who walked into our valley and settled Salt Lake City on the banks of the Great Salt Lake......It was a struggle for the many that made this valley bloom.  No other state declares the 24 of July  a  holiday but Utah and we do it up grand with parades, rodeo, fireworks and family parties. So today I will watch the parade on TV and enjoy the pool with my nephew and his family.  One daughter is in Bear Lake, one in Lake Powell and one busy getting her house ready to put on the market.  Annie spent the night with me and took the dogs home this morning.
"Imagine how far your dreams will take you.....if you unload the worries that can weigh you down, leave behind the doubts that slow you down and set side all the little things that get in your way.  Imagine how far your dreams will take you if you let them."
