MAGIC OF YES.....

Strange how you carefully plan your day.....to only have it fall apart......My friend  Shirley called the first of the week....lets pick up lunch and eat it in your new back yard.....Sounds good to me......waited an hour for her this morning and she never showed up......so I jumped in my car mailed some bills and picked up a perscription and came home and took a nap....I will call tonight to see what happened on her end....sick?.....forgot? who knows....but my days are important to me as I begin to be thankful for each day I can get out of bed and enjoy the day......
My cute roommates went to Park City to celebrate their anniversary at the Marriot Hotel...pool, hot tub.....dinner.   so I have the evening alone.....which is good now and then....but we all stayed up till ten last night to see who won the million dollars on AMERICA HAS TALENT!....the black poet did????

MY GO TO PLACE.....

As you can see the back gate is open for the neighbors who like to drop in and sit on the patio.....me standing on he patio waiting to welcome them.....the grass was so lumpy I was afraid to walk on it.....felt I would fall....now no problem and Brayden built me a nice railing down the steps.  Lunch at the cute little table a favorite....hope we have a long warm fall so I can enjoy it......next summer I will cover the place in flowers.....for the birds and bees to share.

SECRET GARDEN.....

No more grass.....last Wednesday four big guys attacked my back yard with viger....and 9 hours later this is how it looked......I love the pavers.....so European.....I cleaned off my very crowed patio....put up a table and chairs ...turned on the fountain and turned on the two sets of lights Brayden had so magically installed for me.......I absolutely love it!!!!
Night time view.....lights on bushes on right and a lighted strip under the edge of the patio.....

ONE IS ALL IT TAKES...

We love this little green frog....so many good ideas?
One idea is all takes...
One idea is enough to set success in motion.  One choice is enough to make great things happen. One step is enough to move you forward.....One act of kindness is enough to start a chain reaction of caring that changes the world , and one person is enough to make a difference....it could be you....or me......!  All great steps forward in our country .....all started by one idea by someone who took one more step.....and another and another....just from one idea they had and didn't give up on.
So tired of Biden and Trump talk.....and praying so hard that Trump wins......The Democrats plan no doubt is to unload Bidden in 6 months and the black lady becomes president and Polosie vice president....and we are well into comunism then......please God.....help us out.....

MASKS.....NOT FOR HALLOWEEN!

My great-grandchildren will some day wonder what is up with all the masks in  2020?  This is Pam in her pull up one.....You can't breath or see or hear .....and every one has a favorite one.....They are worn by everyone to keep from getting or giving the viris to each other....It  started in March and will no doubt be mandatory till the vacine is discovered.  First seat belts ....now masks!

Joining some of the neighbors at The Kings Row....or something like that for dinner tonight....I told Bray and Libby I would take them for their third anniversary....will also be celebrating the Hill's 60 anniversary......which was a day after the Christensons......It is turning cold and suppose to rain tomorrow...we really need it.  Nice having the kids here this weekend.....they usually end up in Vernal....Page .... or the cabin.

JO'S PENNIES.....

I love this little poem.....My sister Jo told me to watch for pennies before she died of cancer.....and I love finding them in the oddest places and sometimes when I really need them to give me a boost.....I know Jo is looking down and taking care of me.
For some reason the time is flying by and I have not been keeping up with my blogging. Number one .....I have just taken the grass out of the back yard and put in pavers and have a great new European looking huge patio....Brayden is making me a railing and has all these ideas about lighting the back yard.....why not.....it's only money!!!

JUST WONDERING???

SPEAKING OF EXRCISE........
Why can't we count the tossing and turning and all the trips to the bathroom at night as exercise......I am having terrible arthritis in both shoulders and every move is an effort......so that is about all the exercise I have been getting....leaves me too tired to walk a mile every day.  This stay in place rule sucks....but not hard to get use to......I go from chair to chair to counter, to the bed and do it again and again......I call it my exercise.....the dr suggested I turn on TV and do one of their exercise programs....Boring......................
The past three days I have taught Libby to sew....she made a dress out of an old sheet of her grandma's.....sherred waist and all.....She will be a good little sewer and some day with kids be glad she can sew....unless they are all boys!
I think I am ready for a nap.....all this talk about exercise has worn me out!

HOW FAST......

How fast the years pass......A fun summer trip up to Virginia City, Montana one summer while staying in Idaho at the Panniers cabin.......which they have sold and now own a traviler house! I guess this was five years ago because Aaron started school this year.....Betty Marie.....Pamela Marie....Tiffany Marie and Aaron.....four generations!  Love you guys. I fell in love with this quaint old town with its wooden side walks and redone stores...it was an old mining town....would like to go back.

VACATION TIME.....

PANNIERS IN CORANADO.....
Grandma got to baby sit Bree while Pam joined Rob in Calif for the Labor Day weekend.....He had to work in CA for three weeks and was lonesome......one more week to go......I went up to Christenson's cabin for the day and had dinner and a fun visit with Sher's family and the Bains.  Beutiful drive up the canyon and the leaves are barely starting to change colors......Libby went to Cedar City with her brother to tell their grandpa good-bye.....he died two days later and will have his funeral this weekend....so sweet Brayden took care of me....I guess it is officially Fall!

WEATHER CHANGE.....

How can the weather change 30 degrees over night.....?  One day 100 degrees and the next we turn on the heat as we are freezing.....snowed in the mountains already.....So excited.....decided to put my back yard in pavers like the neighbor....make one big patio.  I will start looking for a fun round table and chairs and we can enjoy it more this fall...will get a bid tomorrow and ok from the HOA...the bar-b-q is so big no table room.....I guess if I spend my money....the kids won't have to fight over it.
I finally did my ironing this morning!!!  Forgot I had all those fun clothes....now to clean the bed room......Yesterday I got a flue shot.....now waiting for the shot to take care of the viris to be invented.....hurry up you guys...we need it.

T00 TIRED...

BOY IS THIS TRUE.......Don't tell me it is just old age......but i guess it partly is....but every thing is an effort....Yesterday went in and got another shot in my shoulder.....arthristis is really getting me down.....today did the laundry....PATTY came and stayed three hours...love it but don;t get anything done.....empty the dishwasher and take a nap......missed Dr Phil.....but just a rerun....Need to water the plants and I'LL be ready for bed......and yes it is 6:30......

BIG DAY OUT....

Big adventure of the summer....Libby...Suzanne and I had a fun time riding the ski lift at Park City last Friday...thanks to Brayden's freebees....beautiful day and fun adventure....It was a test for me and they had to stop the lift to get me and off ....but I hung (joke) hung in and made it....then down to the Mexican restrauant for lunch and a 20% discount on the lunch.....Suzanne said we couldn't go home without stopping at the Chocolate Factory for desert....soooo a perfect ending to  perfect adventure.

SAD BUT GLAD.....

T
This is my youngest grand-child preparing to fly off on a two year church mission to FORT COLLINS, COLORADO..... Saying good-bye is always hard. Scotty spent the last 6 weeks in the family basement doing his MTC work of learning Potugese.....he was first assigned to Brazil...so? So proud of him and he was anxious to be on his way.....and get to work.  Big brother Richie served his two year mission in Mexio....and getting ready for a mission was different then....before the viris!
Good Luck Scott....we love you and will miss you.

WELCOME SEPTEMBER......

THIS IS ARRON HORTON.....MY OLDEST GREAT-GRANDCHILD....ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.....HIS MOTHER SAID ..."OTHER THAN I FORGOT TO PICK HIM UP???  HE SAID HE MADE A NEW FRIEND AND WANTS TO GO BACK TOMORROW."
When I started to school.....I went to seven different ones my first grade and was always the new girl in class.....and had to make new friends easily to survive....maybe the reason I have always been a people person.....the worst one was Walsenberg Colorado....a railroad town with mostly Mexicans....who all spoke Spanish?I didn't!
