TWINS BIRTHDAY......

TWINS.....HOW LUCKY.

Monday the 12th....Sherrie and Karrie turned 54.....54 wonderful years of fun and watching them grow into wonderful mothers and grandmas.....Still so much alike and yet so different. They spent a few days in Puerto Viarta together for their birthday,,,,,I had Ken and the two dogs.....Ken is a great help for chores I can't do any more.  This picture just reminded me of all the beautiful things God has given me.

Almost time for another birthday.....and all I can say is......thankgoodness for family.....I feel so sorry for people who are trying to make it alone.  They are what I get up for every morning....When they hurt....I hurt....when they cry .....I cry.  I will take all the birthdays God has for me.......

 

Counting the Weeks!

Today is Libby's 25th birthday......and we are counting the weeks till OLIVIA.....joins our family......which will make Khloe jealous I am sure......She has been busy all weekend with her missionary companion attending a wedding and various things....We have had Brayden to enjoy Ken with me.   The baby is due 26th of May.  She is beginning to pop.

Tomorrow....the twins will be home from Puerto Viarta to celebrate their 43rd birthday with family.....and My birthday and Kennedy's is next week...birthdays...birthdays....birthdays!

 

WHATS NEW?.....LIBBY'S 25TH

lOOKING BACK.......

If we only knew what growing up would be like....would we count the days till we were 16.....so we could drive.....and many miles we have, if you have children.....you get to drive! Would we count the days until we were 18......and "be of age".....to do what?  Graduate...pay your way and leave home ...or until you were the great age of 21 .....and legal for most anything?

Would I WANT TO GO BACK AND DO A "DO OVER"?   I think not......    I turn 89 next week and I am happy with my quiet...boring.....peaceful life in old age....if I just didn't hurt all the time with arthritis.....but I have a wonderful  family and friends that keep me going.

This week I had Ken and his two dogs while Sherrie went to Puerto Viarta with Karrie for 5 days...Ken has helped me get the patio ready for summer......moving furniture....emptying pots ....rearanging stuff....and Brayden painted the rocking chair....glued the fountain and wired everything......Libby has been busy all weekend with her mission companion who is staying here.....she is from WA and her father is something in the government...... and attending  wedding stuff in Orem ....Bray is great with Ken......helps me so much as KEN is crazy about him......We have church at eleven thirty...then a couple of hours later home to fix dinner .....eat....nap.....time for bed....for me......Sherrie and Karrie will be home tomorrow on their 54th birthday......NEXT weekend a baby shower at Pam's for Libby....and maybe a birthday party for Ken who turns 23 on the 29th....

 

DANCE....DANCE....DANCE

April....is a good month to dance.....many birthdays......Libby on the 11th ....the day before the twins on the 12th....mine on the 19th and Kennedy the 21st......Jim on the 29th.....trouble is my arthritis is so bad I don't feel like dancing....Then we throw in a baby shower for Libby the 17th...... a couple of doctor appointments and so the month goes....my big 89th....can you believe that???

I am getting excited to buy flowers for the patio and get out the furniture.....and lite up the fire pit....and make some ....".sommores"......So worried about little sister.....seems she has been down for weeks and her hip is healing slowly....and my sweet Sher dealing with  her problems.  I keep telling myself to have FAITH....that it is all in GOD'S hands.

 

Lunch with Scotty.....

Fun day with family and neighbors...Awww Spring!

I took lunch over to Kar's and dropped off her birthday present.....My Scotty has lost his hair and looks tired,,,,but so full of love.  Karrie had Lilly and Isla so got to have lunch with 2 more great-grandchildren today. Lilly didn't want her picture taken obviously!!!  Scott is being so brave and positive through all his chemo...what a rock.

When I got home the neighbors were having a picnic in the front yard and I joined them for an hour.....then just about nap time and Hilda...another neighbor......rang the door bell and we spent a half hour on the porch visiting...Such great neighbors,....Yes I did get a little nap in before DR PHIL. Our good weather is suppose to end tonight...some rain I hope.

Had a nice quiet weekend watching Conference and enjoying a nice Easter dinner at the Panniers.....fun Easter Egg hunt with Aaron.  Great grand-childen are so fun at 6......he has lost his first tooth.....and the tooth fairy gave him 5 dollars....wow....my tooth fairy was always cheap....a quarter was big in my town.  The Cooks came by with an orchard and the neighbor brought a cup with a flower in it.  The kids went to Vernal.  It was 80 degree.
