LET IT RAIN.....

 

 

A balmy Thursday evening turns into a cloud burst!.....Yes, we really do need the water......but the wind is terrible.....love the thunder and lightening that goes with a summer storm.....sat on the porch to get a good view....

TOMORROW......the summer Olympics start in Tokyo......good weekend intertainment.......TOMORROW....also big 24th of July celebration in Utah......parade, rodeo, dances, etc. but for me......just another day.  The Cooks are off to Bear Lake for the weekend.....Sher in Vernal.....and Pam getting ready for trip to Detroit........Robs new job....he will stay and Pam will stay in SLC and tend the dogs.    

I still hurt to bad to even think of leaving home.......all I want to do is hit the bed with the hot pad.....I seem to be sleeping my summer away.....even shopping isn't fun any more......and I have quit eating....nothing tastes good....three bites and I am done!   Who said old age is great......is not 89.....?

Well....back to the TV.....

Like I said.....new computer......have not figured out the picture thingy yet........

I tended Bree two nights while the Panniers ran down to Wendove......but the good news is....Karrie has arranged for the cleaning ladies to come clean my house every other Monday....I feel like I have died and gone to heaven.....In all my 89 years .....other than family......I have never had anyone help me......even when the twins were babies.... (i think this is a picture of my old house after I remodeled the  kitchen).....Patty came for coffee last week....so we got caught up on our lives.....she is a life saver some weeks.

Last Sunday was a big day for the family......Olivia a blessed in ward in Leihi....all the family turned out.....Pam drove Sherrie and I down.....Alex ....Ashlyn.....and Ken drove down.  Karrie sick and her family fishing out of town......so no Cooks.  Darren and his mother were there..Braydon so proud and they served a nice brunch......pretty quiet without them here anymore. He is still commuting to Park City to work.....Libby's family were all there from Vernal......Such a precious baby.....

 

Help??????

 For some stupid reason I cannot get a picture to come up......so to heck with it.....So much has happened this last two weeks i  don't know where to start.....I am completely lost with this new computer.....no worry about remembering pass words they said......still can't get to the  blog any more.  I still hurt and have about given up and spend my time on the heating pad in bed...no way to spend your summer! Think my cancer pill is causing the trouble.....and the traMODAL makes me hurt worse......instead of helping the pain......The kids moved out two weeks ago .......so trying to get use to the idea of being alone......

Happy Forth of July

My life has gone to pot......The 4th just another day.....church....a nap......water the flowers......today hurt really bad. missed my blogging for a week but the words just don't come some times.....Patty came for coffee......shopped a little.....doing Christmas already.....talked to Jim and Les......faithful neighbors in and out.   Pam and I went to lunch......One bright spot......Karrie lined up the cleaning people to come do bathrooms,floors, change bed etc. every other Monday.....I am thrilled.....I have never had people clean my house in 89 years.....

Can you believe the temperature hit 107 in good ole SLC....broke the record of 102 a few years ago!  No rain and we are begging for rain.......

Been a busy week....so behind in my blogging.....seems quiet all week with the kids moving out....doing a lot of sleeping.....an trying to get use to living alone again......out of the six years I have lived here five of them have had some one living with me....Ken....three years...Bray and Lib two.......Thank goodness for  

    great neighbors.

Monday Pam came home from Nicc's and picked up Bree....had a good visit.

Tuesday.....Patty came for coffee and waited for the "bug" man to come......

Wednesday.....went shopping

Thursday.....me Cleon and I met for our annual bagel date......AND.....Gay talked me into going to the backyard Relief Society outing ........      

Friday....today.....went to lunch with 6 neighbor ladies celebrating a couple of birthdays....a fun group....my social life is wearing me out......

Sherrie and Ken coming to stay all night Sunday.

Wonder what next week will bring?
